Congratulations to Annie Palmer who won the Laser Hair removal package!
I know there were so many of you who really, really wanted it. FYI, it went to a person who really wanted and will appreciate it.
Thanks to all who entered! You probably entered because the prize was fantastic, but I honestly felt really supported seeing all your entries.
In the beginning, I was really nervous to take this job with Elase. I mean who just wants to tell the world about their armpits on a regular basis? But…of all the sponsored posts I’ve written, this has been my readers favorite (according to my stats).
Tthere are many who are very curious about Laser Hair Removal. I know you’re all super sad about this, but this is the last post you’ll GET to read about my armpits.
Yes, it’s true. My business relationship with Elase is coming to an end. Don’t be sad, we all knew it wouldn’t last forever.
For my conclusional post, I’ll share my opinion about the results, tell you what I was surprised by, and share what I’ve learned about it’s safety.
First of all, it does not hurt. Really.
I’ve not been plagued with a lot of unwanted hair, just the regular stuff we all have.
I probably would never have sought this out, but…having my armpit and bikini area hair free is more wonderful than I was expecting.
It’s been really great considering I’m a tank-top wearing Zumba goer and a suit wearing lap swimmer several times a week.
Being able to waltz into group fitness classes and the lap lanes with out worrying about when the last time I shaved is so freeing! I would definitely do it again, and I do think it’s worth what it costs.
I’ve never mentioned exactly what Elase charges for Laser Hair Removal, that’s mainly because it varies by area.
If you want to know what it costs see their website or contact them.
But here’s my opinion about price. If you have a little extra money, it’s totally affordable.
The cheapest and best way is to become a member of Elase for 18 months. As a member, you’ll be able to get enough treatments that the results will last forever.
The reality is that 3 or 6 treatments will take care of lots of unwanted hair, but it won’t take care of it all, and the results won’t last forever. More treatments is always better. If you have a little lump of money or don’t mind a little payment during your 18-month membership, you can do this.
Is it safe? The answer is…Yes. I just had an MD appointment and asked my OB about the safety of laser hair removal. He gave me two thumbs up!
I asked him if we need our body hair especially in strategic areas. He told me we DO NOT need that hair. He said that if we could re engineer the human body, there would be no reason for extraneous body hair in those areas.
He also told me that about 50 percent of his patients either shave ALL their unwanted body hair or have had laser hair removal treatments. I was shocked. According to my unscientific research (a conversation with my doc) half of us are hair free everywhere (and I do mean EVERYWHERE).
In conclusion, I hope I have given you permission to at least investigate Laser Hair Removal. If you don’t do it now, consider it sometime in your future especially if your body hair bothers you.
I honestly recommend having Elase perform your treatments. Their facility is beautiful and relaxing. Their staff is warm and welcoming. Their pricing is less than almost everyone providing the same service using high quality machines. And, every year they win awards for their excellent service and reputation in the industry.
I really am so grateful to Elase for providing me this opportunity and to you for being willing to read about it. If you end up at Elase, tell them Kristin Sokol sent you.
